Mimi Capote comes from a diverse cultural and academic background. She was born here in the US and also had the privilege of being raised throughout the Americas and Europe due to her father’s diplomatic position with Spain. She finished high school locally at Coral Gables High, with a 4.7GPA and selected the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies. Mimi attained a BFA with Honors in Oil Painting and Graphic Design from UF and moved forward with her scholastic pursuits by enrolling in FGCU’s Masters in Business Administration program, graduating with Honors.

Throughout her professional career she has worked nationally and internationally for prestigious firms within the scope of graphic design, marketing and public relations. Mimi is fluent in English, Spanish and French, and has an A.C.E. certification from Adobe as well as a M.O.U.S. certification from Microsoft in the Expert level, enabling her to be an instructor for Adobe and Microsoft products. As Marketing and Administrative Coordinator for Borinquen Medical Centers of Miami-Dade, one of Mimi’s roles is that of Editor and Designer of The Voice of The Caribbean, Borinquen’s very own monthly newspaper first launched on January 2012. She also promotes the company through marketing campaigns launched in conjunction with many National and Local events.

Mimi’s role within the company requires her to act as Chair of the Company’s Picnic Committee, Chair of the Company’s Holiday Party Committee and Non-Clinical Co-Chair of Logistics of the Emilio Lopez Health Fair. She also serves as a National Hispanic Corporate Achievers, State of Florida Ambassador. She is a passionate mixed martial arts athlete, enjoys traveling the world and taking on large format oil painting projects.
